Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2026
About These Terms
These terms apply to anyone booking or taking part in a School of Skill (“SOS”) programme, including 1-to-1 coaching, small group coaching, camps, school programmes and player assessments. By booking a place, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or, where relevant, the player you are booking for.
Bookings and Payment
- Places on coaching programmes and camps are confirmed once payment or a deposit, where applicable, has been received.
- Prices and available dates are correct at the time of publishing and may change for future bookings.
- Where a place is limited, such as on a camp, spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellations and Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds and transfers for cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis, and camps with limited capacity may carry different cancellation terms which will be confirmed at the time of booking.
School of Skill reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session, camp or programme due to unforeseen circumstances, including insufficient numbers, coach illness or venue issues, and will offer an alternative date or refund where this happens.
Health, Fitness and Conduct
- Parents and players should let us know about any medical conditions, injuries or additional needs that may affect participation.
- Players are expected to follow the reasonable instructions of coaches for their own safety and the safety of others.
- School of Skill reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session or programme if their behaviour puts themselves or others at risk.
Photography and Media
We may take photographs or video during sessions and camps for training, promotional or social media purposes. We will always seek parental consent before using identifiable images of a child, in line with our Privacy Policy and Safeguarding Policy.
Liability
School of Skill takes reasonable care to provide a safe coaching environment, but basketball, like any physical activity, carries an inherent risk of injury. Except where caused by our negligence, School of Skill is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation in our programmes.
Schools and Organisations
Where School of Skill delivers programmes within a school, PRU or other organisation, additional terms may be agreed directly with that organisation, and its own policies (including safeguarding and health and safety) apply alongside these terms.
