01

Core identity

The logo system

Our mark combines a direct SOS monogram with a disciplined wordmark. It should feel established, educational and ready for the court, not decorated for effect.

Clear space

Give the mark room.

Keep at least the width of one monogram letter clear on every side. Never crowd it with copy, rules or partner marks.

Minimum size

Keep the promise legible.

Use the full lockup no smaller than 150px digital. Below that, use the SOS monogram with an accessible text label.

Use

One mark. One moment.

Use one logo treatment per composition. Preserve its proportions and choose the version with strongest contrast.

02

Colour

Warm confidence. Institutional depth.

White and navy carry the system. Gold signals action and ambition. Every colour has a job; none is added merely for decoration.

Do

  • Lead with white space and clear hierarchy
  • Show real coaching, action and relationships
  • Use gold with restraint and purpose
  • Keep language direct and grounded
  • Balance Birmingham roots with global outlook

Don't

  • Imitate loud sports-flyer graphics
  • Invent affiliations, awards or outcomes
  • Use gradients, clutter or decorative effects
  • Shrink useful type into microcopy
  • Repeat or embellish the logo unnecessarily

The standard

Built for development
on and off the court.
